Records of Wells and Test Holes
Descriptions of 242 wells, test holes, and springs in Linn County are given in table 4. All reported information was obtained from owners or tenants and is given in feet. Measured depths of wells and depths to water levels are given in feet and tenths of feet below land surface. The well-numbering system is explained in the Introduction. The locations of wells and test holes are shown on plate 1.
