Topographic and planimetric (without contours) maps are produced
by the U.S. Geological Survey for the entire country. The maps range
from the highly detailed 1:24,000-scale series to two generalized
1:500,000-scale wall maps of the whole state. The following Kansas
maps are available from the Kansas Geological Survey. A free index
also is available. Call the KGS sales offices in Lawrence, 785-864-3965, or Wichita, 316-943-2343 x200.
